In His Looks

My family and I celebrated our great grandfather and grandmother's birthday. Before the celebration, we had a little visit in the cemetery to pray over them. Suddenly a group of cemetery workers approached us and volunteered to clean the area. Then I saw this guy with a cheerful smile and doing his job observing the workers. With no doubt, he started to help them up. I took a photograph of him to express what I feel of their situation. From now on, He will be called, "Manung Guard".

"Manung Guard", is a common filipino term meaning a person who guards a specific area. As what I said, there are many ways where we can express our feelings with. Better find your place and start appreciating what you have. Remember this, no matter what situation you are going through, always be joyful because everything has a purpose! There's a lot of people out there who has worst situation than yours. Cheers! :)

From Passion to Reality

I've been searching out the net of great photographers and still loving Mr. Parc Cruz's work flow. As a student, I don't have much time on traveling to other places and capture precious moments of random things.

From day to day, I already started to bring my camera in me and shooting different kinds of people. With enough confidence and another of the confidence, I got the chance to take this photographs and try to make things better. For a change, I'm exploring new type of work flow for me in post processing both landscape and portrait photography of people.

My thought for the day? There are lots of great photographers out there and if you really want to improve your skills in doing so. Use your resources; good places plus good people produce outstanding photographs. Whatever camera you have, you just need to concentrate and widen your imagination in photography. Here's my new photographs for today with my new work flow. Critiques are always welcome. Thank you!

A Brand New Journey

I'm currently a 2nd year student at St. Paul University Philippines, formerly an active student council officer, I lost for my Vice-Presidency and I got depressed so I focused in photography. My camera's shutter life started working when I volunteered taking photographs of school events and giving it to our publication. Often times I think of how to help my mom of paying my school needs so I started to show myself up to studio's here in our town. Thank God I found Star Studio!

Turning passion and vision into reality. Star Studio gave me chance of covering a wedding of a sweet couple way up north; Buguey, Cagayan. This is my first wedding coverage and pressure fills my head. Because of my excitement, I was not able to take landscape photos and focused in the wedding itself. lol:) Here are some photos;

Hello Blogspot!

It feels good to have a blog spot account! At last! I am not good in expressing my thoughts in words but I do hope you understand my world. He he he

For the mean time, this will be my site where I'll upload most of my artworks in different areas of photography. I am an accidental photographer by the way; the usual story.I got bored of my point and shoot camera then here comes the time that I get intimidated of the profs so I started investing my prayers for my own dlsr camera. My 4 months in photography has been a very tight journey in my life. From the time I met Sir Lito Sy ,An international Award Winning Wedding Photographer of the Philippines, I began to crave more of wedding photography. The Wedding & Portrait Photographers of the Philippines has been my inspiration on entering wedding photography. So I am a part of Star Studio here in Tuguegarao City, a call up wedding photographer. At the age 17, I began to cover events in our university until such time Star Studio (owned by Mr. Chu Taquiqui) gave me a chance to cover wedding events. Until now, I am young wedding photographer/Photo journalist hoping that the world would see my feelings through the photographs I produce.

As what they always say, "It's not about the bow and arrow, It's about the Indian". This quote has been my foundation in photography for I do not have enough financial capabilities to buy my gears. The quote is half meant true, the photographer and his gear works together. So if you're new to photography and taking it as a business; I encourage you to be strong and never give up in your passion. Have the confidence of having networks and contacts of different photographers. They will be the reason of your maturity in this never ending endeavor--The world of Photography. Cheers! Here are some of my photographs in the first 2 months of my camera;
